INTERIHOTEL 2025: ALIMARA HOTEL DRIVES HOSPITALITY INNOVATION
As part of the Alimara University Alimara university hotel and with the help of the professors and professionals of the CETT Barcelona School of Tourism, Hospitality and Gastronomythe Hotel Alimara will be very present at the edition of interihotel 2025.
Interihotel is the event of reference in interior design for hotels and hospitality spaces, which will take place in Barcelona from October 21 to 23. The presence of Hotel Alimara and CETT is articulated in four proposals that combine technological innovation, sectorial debate and strategic reflection, reinforcing its pioneering role in the transformation of the sector:
- Xperience Lab: Generative AI applied to the design of spaces
We will participate in the creation of contents of the Generative Cubean immersive projection and videomapping environment available throughout the event, in which visitors will be able to transform hospitality spaces in real time through Generative Artificial Intelligence. Developed from the lobby and foyer of the Alimara Hotel, it explores new ways of conceiving the sensory narrative, configuration and equipment of spaces.
- Round Table: Hotels as spaces for cultural and social exchange
On October 21, in the Lounge of interihotel, CETT will be part of a panel discussion that will bring together relevant voices of design and hotel management. Under the moderation of Anaïs Cavallín (CETT-UB), Inés Miró-Sans (Bonay Hotel Group), Luigi Espósito (The Social Hub) and Mercè Borrell (Mercè Borrell) will discuss how hospitality can transcend accommodation to become a driver of local identity, community connection and new market opportunities.
- Wellspaces Forum 2025
We will also be present at the WELLSPACES FORUM 2025, to be held on October 21, a space for reflection on the design of healthy and sustainable environments, where Álvaro Arrieta (CETT-UB) will provide the sector's vision on innovation and wellness, with a focus on the transformation of the hotel experience based on evidence and smart technologies.
- AI Interiors: Report on Generative AI Trends in Hospitality
On Thursday, October 23, within the interi-off program, AI Interiors will be held, a professional meeting focused on the impact of Generative AI in the design of spaces and experiences.
In this framework, the report "Trends of Generative AI in Hospitality", prepared in collaboration between AMBIT Cluster, CETT Barcelona School of Tourism, Hospitality and Gastronomy and Sciling, will be presented.
The document analyzes current uses and future scenarios of this technology in hospitality, from creative automation to the generation of visual and conceptual content that transforms the way we conceive and manage tourism environments.
With these four initiatives, CETT and Hotel Alimara reinforce their commitment to academic excellence, knowledge transfer and co-creation of innovative solutions, consolidating their position as a key player in the evolution of hospitality and experience design.
