Alimara thus joins the position of the CETT Campus, of which it is part, and other academic institutions such as the University of Barcelona, to stop publishing content on X, formerly Twitter.

Hotel Alimara, a pioneer university hotel in Europe, opened in 1995 and with a history of 30 years, is committed to the defense and promotion of a responsible tourism and hotel sector. Thus, it has decided to distance itself from the X platform, which currently promotes messages of hate and misinformation, values contrary to those of Hotel Alimara.

Hotel Alimara is aware of its social responsibility and, consequently, from today all publications and interactions on the social network X are stopped.

With this decision, Alimara is committed to being present in spaces where responsible and constructive dialogues are fostered in a safe and trustworthy environment. Likewise, it condemns all anti-democratic behavior that seeks to polarize and radicalize public opinion.
